The Rehoboth Country Club? Yup! It exists.
My Family and I were lucky enough to get a peek inside this luxury club! And we are not members. (Although we wish that we were!)
The Rehoboth Beach Country Club Entrance
This gorgeous club sits right on Rehoboth Bay. We actually sailed over to the area last time we went for a sail at the Rehoboth Beach Delaware Sailing Association.
You can see the club from the water. It was a bit of a ride on our catamaran, but worth the view of the club.
If there are two words to describe the Rehoboth Beach Country Club, they would be "ultimate luxury."
So, how did we get in to this luxury club for a night? Three words... Good family friends.
They belong to this club, so we had been invited in a few times for dinner and shows.
If you know anyone, you can most likely see this luxury club too! Otherwise it's impossible to get in without being a member.
I'll never forget the first time we set foot inside. We were greeted by gorgeous winding staircases and marble floors.
A beautiful chandelier hung above the lobby. Big white pillars surrounded us.
A small wooden and shiny table sat in the middle of the floor holding a beautiful bouquet of flowers.

Comfy chairs were stationed next to the staircases with plants surrounding the area.
We were afraid to touch anything!
I remember walking over to the dining room section and being seated right near the glass windows overlooking the water.

As we sat down, we were immediately offerred beverages and our dinner selections.
For an appetizer, we had a baby green salad with balsamic dressing. You could then choose chicken, fish or red meat for dinner. All came with vegetable side and potatoes.
You even got dessert and coffee on top of that!
There was almost too much food! Between drinks, appetizers, salads, your main dish and dessert, I could hardly drink my coffee.
On other event nights, they sometimes had a buffet. This last year we went, there was a huge selection of shrimp, grits, green beans, ravioli, pasta and more. You will never go hungry!
After Dinner, Fun Events Begin!
The country club is known for it's special event nights, which is part of the reason our Aunt invited us in the first place.
Luckily, we had come on trivia night, which is held every Wednesday. As we gobbled down the rest of our food, and started in on dessert, the trivia night began.
This is how it worked... all the tables at the country club were teams. We each had a name. The announcer came around to each table and introduced the teams.
There were a bunch of trivia questions read out loud. And your team had to come up with an answer.
After writing the answer down on a card, one team member would come up to the announcer and drop the answer in a box.
The announcer would then read the answers and record the points.
Between the teams cheering, hooting and hollering, it was an interesting time.

Looking a bit confused, no? Not exactly the easiest game! The questions were hard, trust us. :)
And there was no texting allowed! That means we couldn't use our cell phones or other devices.
By the end of the night, we knew more knowledge than we had come in with. I mean, these questions were hard! (Like putting car models in order from early to latest!)
Do not underestimate the power of trivia here. It's not easy! ;-)
At the end of the night, after a few cups of coffee, we ended up in 5th place. Not bad for a team who hasn't done this before! :-)
The winners received a free dinner coupon and a lot of attention!

It's A Wrap!
We always have a lot of fun when we go to the Rehoboth Country Club. We feel truly lucky to have some nice family friends who have invited us before.
Our night was over and it was time to say goodbye. My Sister and I ran to check out the bathrooms and women's locker rooms on our way out. All we can say is FANCY!
We forgot to mention that there is also a beautiful in ground swimming pool. (Which we did get to experience, thanks to Aunt Genie!)
And the pool area is amazing. There is a full service bar within walking distance from the pool. And you can quickly order food for lunch and sit at the pool side tables. (Umbrellas included.)
We cannot even imagine if someone decided to have a wedding here. It would be so magical and exciting! I only dream of being able to do this someday. ;-)
The Rehoboth Beach country club is truly a hidden gem. If you do get the chance to see this beautiful place, don't pass on the offer. You will be amazed.
The nightly entertainment and food is excellent. Everything is top notch. We truly wish we could be part of this amazing club.

We look back and constantly thank our friends for inviting us into such a luxurious place. We definitely don't ever get to live like this.
We hope many of you reading this are either members of this beautiful club or vacationers that may soon get to experience this like we did.

As we walked out of the club with smiles on our faces, we wondered if we would ever get to experience this again. What a night! The Rehoboth Country Club is quite a magical place that our Family will never forget.
